Startupcannon was founded by Anthony Cammarata.
Anthony began his career with a large, prominent New York based public accounting firm, where he got his first taste working with and for entrepreneurs. His work bridged the audit and tax sides of the organization and allowed him to develop and execute strategies for clients to maximize the flow of money from a client’s customers to their stakeholders and investors.
Anthony next joined a Maryland based real estate development firm where he successfully led all accounting and financial reporting for the development of a $200 million real estate joint-venture project between his firm and one of the world’s largest private equity firms. Anthony also served as a liaison between all parties involved in the venture.
After the completion of the joint-venture, Anthony joined one of most successful Washington, DC based technology companies where he helped raise $120 million over three funding rounds and helped grow the company from a 10 person startup to a mid-sized 250 person organization. During this tenure he helped refine a transactional recording system so that it could accurately scale transactional volume by 15,000%. He also built the organization’s accounting department and re-built its financial reporting and payroll functions from scratch.
